Work is work... BUT I'm really blessed with a job that I love. I love what I do and mostly, I love who I work with.
People kept confusing Cari and Carly... which is weird since the look NOTHING alike. But the other day, Carly brought her wig and they dressed as twinners.
Probably one of the funnest nights ever was when we did a Flash Mob in the BYU Library during finals week. You can watch it here... or watch it at Powerstand in my next post.
Garrett has spent the last year working on a project based around QR codes. He's gone through a few different teams and ideas until he landed on a GREAT team. Kirk Ouimet is a fantastic back-end developer and Ben Turley who is also a phenomenal programmer and app developer.
Last week, they released their first free app. After the release Garrett went to meet with his developers. When he arrived, he was bragging about how he got over 8 of his friends to download the app. The developers looked at him sort of weird and asked him if he had seen their analytics. The app had been up for 2 days and they had already had over 2,000 downloads. Every day they average over 1,500 downloads. Its been really exciting.
Their website, www.qrcodecity.com should be launched in the next few days. Stay tuned for more QR Code City updates.
We drove to Denver for Christmas. Trent drove the WHOLE way there and back. We left Tuesday night at 8pm and fell asleep. Next thing we knew, we were waking up in our driveway.
Wyoming was a bit windy and slick. But, Trent is a GREAT driver.
We went to Spring City twice this break. Once for a Christmas Extravaganza with just about the whole family and once again when Gabes and Chandler were in town. The second time, it was FREEZING! About -25. Brrrr. But it was some fresh and clean snow and air.
The cute couple. SO fun to see them. Except I still think its weird that Gabes is marrying her Garrett.
Family Christmas in Spring City. One giant slumber party. Luckily, we slept in the barn and weren't woken by all the crying babies. We LOVED seeing all the babies, but it was good birth control. ;)
Laurie makes the best sugar cookies and let everyone help decorate. Brady was eating spoonfuls of frosting.
